Sorry, never played in Australia. I was selected for a tour once but it was
called off owing to an outbreak of dingo flu.

Because the Aus media - no idea if they are in any way representative
of the residents - threw a giant hissy fit, which was entertaining as
hell. And Aus posters here, who seem in large part to blindly follow
their idiotic media.

It's immaterial and uninteresting to me whether or not some Indians
were *also* upset. That's hardly news: from Agarkar to Zimbabwe, many
Indians are upset over many things, every other week.

-Samarth.

Yeah. I remember it well. They went "Waaaaaaa!! We're taking our bats
and going home! Waaaaaaa!!". Something like that, right?

Walters six off the last ball of the days play to bring up a century in
a session.
I vaguely remember seeing that shot on some docu or something
Did he top edge attempting a hook?

In the spirit of the times I believe Willis indicated what ball he was
going to bowl so he could get a century. I will try and locate my book and
advise- it wasn't a top edge- nice shot.

Description of the shot in here

http://www.theage.com.au/news/sport/how-mates-tricked-sixhero-walters/2008/07/30/1217097331686.html

Very humerous account of how his team mates reacted
