Somewhere I downloaded a couple of early versions of North to Alaska,
sung by Johnny Horton. There's a third verse in these versions. I
can't quite make out the lyrics. Can anyone help me out? Here is
what I have so far:
It was mighyt men like Sam McCord
Who.............a town like Nome
..........................fighting men
.................home called their own
And stood up to a grizzly bear
And put him in his place
........................Nome, Alaska
That..........................can.
