Portrait of Warren Buffett sells for $100,000 on eBay...

A portrait of Warren Buffett painted in 10 minutes sold for
$100,000 to a Minneapolis executive in an eBay Inc. auction

...Performance artist Michael Israel painted the portrait
in May outside the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska, before
the annual meeting of Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. The
artist later touched it up and signed it, as did Buffett
himself...

[That shows some savvy marketing by Mr. Israel. He made his painting
performance a focal point of this otherwise-boring-to-art-afficionados
corporate event, got legendary investor Warren Buffet to co-sign it,
and got in a plug for Benjamin Moore paint (a wholly-owned subsidiary
of Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway Corp) and a charitable deduction as
well. with 100% of the proceeds going to the Girls Club of Omaha. But
don't worry; I'm sure he gets compensated somehow...]
