I recall only the younger Bush and Gore finished marathons.
Its a quick way to obtain your required daily exercise if you
are a busy professional. |

a high school kid in 3:31 in 1951 when there were 191 entrants! |

Her parents were track/xc coaches, and used to take the whole family to
races when they were kids.
