the SPCA to treat the animal. Best to simply have it destroyed.

You know what, it may be sad, but you're right.
Especially as they will spend thousands of dollars on this one cat, that
likely if it even survives, will still suffer for the rest of it's life.
But they euthanize thousands of healthy cats daily, only because there are
not enough people to adopt them.

As far as I know the SPCA is funded by donations from the public and
not taxpayers dollars. |

you call a cat worthless anyone that calls a cat worthless
is worthless there self...the guy that did this to the poor cat
should be locked up for the rest of his life and only get bread and water to
eat..so it doesn't`t cost to much to feed him...
what ever the SPCA spends to treat this poor cat he or she is worth it
