Hello everyone!
I came to NYC to work for holiday, I work Mon-Fri and on weekend
would love to do dive in NY&NJ waters. I brought nealy all my
equipment with myself, except weights & tanks (I'd need to rent them
somewhere on Manhattan - so first question, any advices, where? Tanks
- doubles & optionally an oxy-clear stage or two. Would love DIN
valves Wink )
But the more important question, is: is there anyone diving on
regular or semi-regular basis, located on Manhattan, so nice to let me
into his/her car? Bringing all the gear on my shoulders, incl tanks
etc., to dock, using public transportation seems like rather hardcore
solution.
Little background: I'm looking rather for tec dives on wrecks in this
area, with depth more or less limited by air (don't do trimix, yet).
I'm Polish divemaster & tec diver. Enough background, more on priv Wink
Expecting thousands of replies, don't disappoint me US divers!
...please Smile
Best!

The Jeanne II from Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn dives local and off shore wrecks
every weekend. If you cannot find a ride with another diver, a cab ride is
about a $40 to $50 dollar ride from mid town Manhattan. Check their web site
at www.jeanne-ii.com.
The senior mate is also Polish, so I am sure you'll get along just fine with
him...
If you need more details, email me.
