Given the plethoras of more or less necessary yahoo groups dedicate to
various interpreters, I was surprised to see there was no group
focused on Janet Baker's ample and deep heritage.
I've initiated one here:

Exchanges of information regarding biographical and discographical
data, reviews of particular performances or CD's are more than
welcome. Feel free to join and contribute.
I was also surprised by how spotty the information found on the Web
about Janet Baker's legacy is. Many older performers, of somewhat
narrower, more historical interest, seem to be much better served by
the internet than she is.
Perhaps something can be done to fill the gap.
