Well, I'm buying some Hip-Hop for a change.
DJ Premier - Beats that Collected Dust Vol. 1
K Def - Beats from the 90s
Lil Dap - I-A-DAP
Super Seal Breaks II
A bit upset that Lil Dap wasn't available on vinyl. When I actually
decide to pay money for new music rather than download it I at least
expect a real product. Any CDs I get a hold of get imported into
iTunes and thrown into a drawer . . . not much value in that. |

The Fool" was really good. |

Yeah, the 12" I heard a couple months ago was pretty good. He's got

The order got held up because that Primo joint was pushed back. Just
got it all today.
The K Def record is great. Will get pretty regular listens. I
actually enjoyed it more than Willie Boo Boo. The Primo joint is, as
he says himself, "not his best work." I enjoyed more than a few tracks
on it, especially as a huge Primo fan, and it'll be a good record to
play during scratch practice.
Lil Dap I'm something like 85% through right now and still disappointed
there was no vinyl release. Great beat selection; Dap sounding real
good. Melachi shows up on one track -- not so great. Might have to
make a copy of this and keep it in the car where it can get beat up . .
