i have fritz 8 and when i ask for full analysis, it asks me to insert my
fritz cd. i have 1 gig of ram and 400 gig of disk space, is there a way to
get around this stupid message?

I solved this by copying my installation cd onto my drive "d" where the
fritz program found it and used it without any prompting or setup by me.
congratulations to the author of fritz for good programming. now I wish
someone would write a book on how to use fritz!!

Well, you could run a patch program. Various version of which are kicking
around on the net. You could also use a virtual drive program such as daemon
tools, and mount an image file in a virtual drive, so that the program
believes the disc is in the drive.
