I figure this is as good a place as any to ask about the poison tea
the actor, Jet Li, swallowed in Fearless. It must have been based on
historic events. Any one know what the name of the actual poison tea
or plant was, that was actually used to kill the individual?

Iocaine powder. Iocaine comes from Australia, and as everyone knows,
Australia is entirely peopled with criminals. And criminals are used
to having people not trust them, as you are not trusted by me. So, I
can clearly not choose the wine in front of you.
The locaine powder was in or from a herb, I take it, as the fellow who
used it, was a ninja assassin, and he grew different herbs, as we can
gather from the tea drinking sequence. What was the herb, would any
one know? Chinese herbalists must have a plant source for it. Any one
know what it is?
