Interesting picture (and not that poor in my opinion).  From the picture
name it appears that you think that is a bird and a bee--I think it is a
bird and wasp.

Sometimes I see interesting interactions between birds and insects.

One of my syrup feeders hangs on a wire (to get into the window-view)
and is popular with ants.

The Gold Finches use the wire for staging to the thistle feeder nearby.

Every now and again a bird will be "sitting" on  the vertical wire when
an ant crawls over the bird's foot.  The bird will flip his foot several
times to shake the ant off of it, then he grabs the ant in his bill and
throws it with some energy as if to say "I told you:  Stay off of my foot!"

You are observant to notice my error of file name. Smile I do know the
difference but in selecting file name didn't think. A problem I have
more these days <g>

Interesting story about the ant. Don't finches eat ants?

As to the quality of the photo. An old friend of mine is such a
fantastic bird photographer that I strive for sharpness to come close
to his abilities and have a tendency to think all photos that are not
absolutely in focus are bad. Perhaps you know the work of my friend
Doug Herr. If not you may be interested in his website:

Yes I found that to be true. <laughing>

I don't actually know--all I ever see them eat is thistle (niger/nyger)
and occasionally oil sunflower.

I've not seen that site (I don't think), but I took a quick look and saw
names ("Sierra Nevada", "Denali") that I have an interest in, so I will
be back for a further look.

While perfection is a laudable goal, an imperfect picture "in the can"
is better than a perfect picture missed.
