Greetings!
It's been almost two months since an update and a lot has happened
so I'll get right to it. First, Richard's INFINITE PLASTIC CREATION
recording has just been nominated for the 2007 NAR LifeStyle Music
Awards Best Electronic Album. It has also made several Best of 2007
lists including the New Age Reporter's Top 100 Recordings of 2007 -
chosen from 2950 albums - and the Ten Best Recordings of 2007 chosen
by the man respected for his knowledge of extraordinary music... Bill
Binkelman.
We've also got some exciting news on several out of print albums
that have just become available to download. If you've been hoping to
acquire TALES FROM THE INCANTINA, DISORIENT, ASCENSIONISM or the
extremely rare 1982 recording EMERGING MELODIES previously available
on vinyl only, now is your chance. There are links on the front page
of the site to download each of these albums in their entirety.
There's still more! Richard has now completed the SHORT WAVES -
Brief Excursions in Surreal Video project and we have still images
from each of the twelve videos that make up the collection. And
speaking of videos, Richard has also made an exclusive free video
download of "Cape Horn" available with the purchase of the limited
edition ambient recording CONNECTION FAILED.
And last but certainly not least; Richard has created a wonderful
Shox Lumania information page at MySpace as an homage to his late
friend and bandmate Lari Shox. There are several Lumania tracks
available for download there as well as a wonderful video. A link to
that page is also available at the site.
