Normally I'd flame you for spamming. But I actually like this sticker. You
need to modify it a bit though. It shouldn't read slower traffic keep
right. It should read "The Law Is Slower Traffic Keep Right". (backwards,
of course) If it just reads slower traffic keep right, you will look like a
real asshole with one of those on your hood. If it reads the law is slower
traffic keep right, then it SHOULD be taken as a friendly reminder that
proper lane usage is more than just what courtesy requires. -Dave |

nope sorry, you will still come across as an asshole. They will argue that
it is their legal right to drive in any lane they want at the speed limit
(or less) Yes, I have seen them doing 35MPH in the carpool lane while the
rest of the EIGHT LANE (each side) freeway is humming along at 80.
That's just my experience.
My friend had a much more entertaining experience though. he got caught
behind a guy doing 55 in the fast lane (speed limit at the time was 55 but
common traffic was 70) he flashed his lights to indicate he is going too
slow for the fast lane. the guy flashes back a "five-five" with his hand. my
friend changes lane to get around him. a few seconds later he looks in his
rear view mirror to see that the slow driver was rear-ended by someone that
was going at the speed of traffic.
Will they ever learn? nope |

Then they would be wrong and need to be educated. First of all, driving is
not a right, it is a privilege and they DO have to follow the rules of the
road or risk losing that privilage including the keep right - pass left
rule. As for the speed, there is also a minimum speed on most highways
(weather permitting) and they can be tickited for going to slow. Perhaps
the State Troopers should start ticketing people for breaking these rules as
well as just speeding and agressive driving and the number of agressive
drivers and the accidents caused by them would also go down.

In most jurisdictions there is a catchall offense of "driving too slow for
conditions" or "impeding the flow of traffic." Illinois just implemented a
specific offense called "lingering" which is a moving violation specifically
targeted at people who drive too slow in the left-hand lane of multi-lane
highways. I hope they start handing those out hard and fast.

A friend of mine was a fireman, he was driving along, code-3 and this guy
would not get out of the way. they honk their horn, nothing. get on the PA
to tell him to get out of the way (in a polite tone I assume) and then the
guy sticks his hand out the window and flips off the fire engine.
I saw mention of a SUV-size cow catcher. I am not one to object to this
idea.

Yeah, right. You must live in Kansas (another flat earther). As long as
you're going to keep your head stuck in a hole, at least pick a warm one...
