Two names come to my mind right away. Zab Judah and Vernon Forrest.
Forrest was supposed to fight Reid back in April, but got injuried,
and now Cintron has taken care of Reid. And I remember Judah and
Cintron going back and forth calling each other out through interviews
on another site. I think Cintron would have an equally good chance of
stopping Forrest or Judah, and they would have of stopping him.

Cintron could KO Judah if Zab decided to trade. Judah would have to show
the discipline to go in, do his damage, and get the hell out of there. I
don't think he has it right now, though. Forrest did, though (although he's
moving up to 154)

Cintron's power gives him a chance against Judah, but I think he's a
couple of fights away from having a solid shot at beating Zab. Cintron
was decent in that fight, but certainly showed that he needed
improvement. He's not ready for the top 5 fighters in the division, and
certainly not for forrest. Not that it matters a whole lot, Forrest is
headed to 154.
Teddy Reid was slow early, due to age or his weight loss, and took a
drubbing early. Cintron abandoned his game and his body work too
quickly, and came dangerously close to pulling a Klitschko and
collapsing in a fight he was winning. And most of all, he was easy to
hit with Reid's slow, often telegraphed punches. Judah is faster than
Cintron, and can hit hard from odd angles. It's one thing for Cintron's
beard to stand up to punches that he can see coming a mile away. Reid
didn't move, he was right there. Judah can always move, and his
defense, when Zab uses it, can evade the pressure attack Cintron
currently puts on. it's way too dangerous a fight for Kermit until he
seasons.
Looking at welter right now, I'd say Diosbelys Hurtado is a nice choice.
or Juan Valenzuela, if he'll come all the way up to 147. Cintron took a
big step up in competition in his last fight, and it was dangerous. now
is the time for a baby step (hurtado) or a side step with a different
style (Valenzuela). Teddy Reid is not the gatekeeper for the top five
at welter. Teddy Reid was a tune up fight for Forrest. He was a big
step up for Cintron. 147 is drained of mid level talent right now, so
it's not like 140 where prospects have a lot of choices in the second
tier. But Cintron really just arrived in the second tier of welters,
and his performance wasn't so dominating that he's ready to hop into the
elite. let him mull around for a year and then make his run.

Kermit is ready for whatever they put in front of him. Granted, he will be ever
netter in a fight or two, he is ready for anyone.
I'd love the Judah fight, Scab would have his moments, but it would be a matter
of time before his power found Scab's chin and it would be over!!!!

Quote: Look, I don't like Zab much either, and I both rooted for and bet on
Tszyu in their fight. And Cintron is very exciting. But be wary about
jumping on his bandwagon too soon.
I agree, Im not sold on Cintron because he beat a very slow looking teddy reid.
Ive never seen teddy reid throw his punches that slow before, he looked old. I
dont think Cintrons handlers will throw him in with Forrest, whos not even a
welter anymore and i doubt even Zab or Spinks at this point. Zabs speed would
shock cintron seeing how even reid landed some shots on him. I would probably
pick zab in that fight as well.

I would agree there unless Scab had a title. On the other hand, I don't think
team Scab would risk his fragile little beard against a fighter like Kermit
either.
