It is and there are no plans to do otherwise.
the post by sharethewoods is ignorant and wrong. The move to restrict
cars in some national parks has nothing to do with the Democrats. In
yosemite the NPS Yosemite Vally Plan calls for busing day use visitors.
Thios plan is activly supported by Gale Norton, the republican Secretary
of the Interior who is a proponent of privatizing all public lands.
Busing would give Delaware North, the concessionaire in Yosemite and
other parks, control over almost all visitors. Delaware North is and
alwyas has been a big contributor to the Republican prty and its candidates.

George Bush out of office and elect a democrat who will protect our
nation's resources rather than giving them away to corporations. |
