Hi I'm looking to buy some spikes shoes.
I will use them for short-medium distances... say 200-1500m.
Mainly for training, I don't have a chance to race that often anymore.
I was wondering if any of you could suggest the difference between the
Adidas Cosmos and the Powersprint. They both have the "II" version,
what's the difference?
I see a Cosmos II for 200 bucks on the web and a Powersprint for 30.
Does anybody have an idea if they have a narrow or wide fit?
Thanks

Cosmos is an Adidas entry level brand that I believe is being phased out. If
you saw a Cosmos ll for $200, there is likely something wrong, as you can buy
one on eastbay.com for $20. Powersprint is a sprint spike only intended for
100-400. If you are trying to run the full range of 200-1500, you are probably
going to need a middle distance spike. Sprint spikes don't have heels, so it
is difficult for most people to run 800/1500 in them.
A couple other (nike) spikes you might look at are the Zoom Shift and Zoom
Kennedy.

What size? I emailed Spike, and he's a size 9.5, and has several pairs
in various stages of wear he'll sell, so if that's good I'll put you
two in touch and you can do biz. |

Sorry I lost track of this thread.
Yes 9.5 should be fine for me.
Let me know what kind of shoes are we talking about.
Thanks
