Are there any pre-WWII silver-rimmed china patterns?

Hi!

I've lurked here before and learned things, but this is my first time
to post. I've been shopping for a set of fine china that is pre-WWII
with silver or platinum rims for a while now. I've looked at local
antique malls and on ebay, and I haven't found any! I don't know
whether I've just been unlucky or whether none (or very few) were made.
Is there anyone who knows old china who can comment? I am
particularly interested in Noritake. Thanks, Lisa

It depends. If you are willing to pay top dollar, the world is your
oyster.

If not, well, it may take a while.
