This is the Bay Area Country Dance Society schedule for the
week of Monday, June 28, 2004.
BACDS sponsors English and American traditional dances in the
San Francisco Bay Area.
This is fun, relatively easy, community-oriented dancing with
live music. All dances are taught, no partner is necessary,
and first-timers are welcome unless otherwise noted.
Admission to Friday, Saturday & Sunday dances $10; all
others $9, $2 discount for BACDS members.
Please wear clean shoes with non-marking soles.
NOTES: Mendocino American Week runs July 3-10, with a tremendous program
of contras, squares, caller and musician workshops, and fun for all.
There may still be space left; check www.bacds.org/amweek to learn
more about the camp and to register.
Mendocino English Week runs July 10-17, with a stellar program
featuring staff from the Bay Area, the East Coast, and the UK.
At last report the camp was full. More info at www.bacds.org/eweek
BACDS Family Week runs at the same time in the Sierra Foothills
east of Fresno. The terrific staff and astonishingly varied program
(contras, squares, English country, hula dancing, storytelling,
morris, English clog, Appalachian clog, longsword dancing, singing,
signing, family dances, crafts, and more) with something for all ages
make this a week your family will never forget. Check out
www.bacds.org/familyweek for more info.
