I bought a peace of Mopani tree for my tank. The seller told me to
cook it and to keep it some time in water in order to clear it of
tannin.
I cooked that tree four times, every time it exuded dark
red-orange-brown color. After that I have put it in cold water for
some time, and finally I placed it in my tank before I went to sleep.
Next morning I thought that I'll go crazy - the water turned yellow
and turbid, and my fish were on the surface grabbing for air.
Disaster!
I fixed up everything, but I still wish to put that tree in my
aquaria. Someone have any experience about this sort of tree? |
