I've got a '97 Toyota Corolla SD with a CompuStar Command Start (for 5spd)
and the factory VIP S1000 Car Alarm. They both work if I go through the
proper procedures to activate either one ...but they won't work
simultaneously. Either the alarm is activated or the cmd start is activated.
The local installers wanna charge me $50 to make them work simultaneously,
so I'm thinking it's probably an easy fix. I'm realtively savvy with car
audio installs and electronics, but I'd like some idea what to do to make
them work together before taking anything in the car apart.
Any help is appreciated!
