Here are two photos of Sparky and Bill-O I'm borrowing from Annika1980
showing us how the right forearm is correctly used;

SHould the path of the right shoulder from the top to impact be
directly at the ball , or on a parallel line to the right forearm? I
always thought the path of the right shoulder and right forearm were
supposed to be on the same line, ie the turned shoulder plane. Unless
these 2 are using a different shoulder plane.

Thx

Actually on second look, looks like the right forearm is on the elbow
plane, shallower than the turned shoulder plane.

That is a great pic - how the shaft bends to put the sweetspot right on
line.

Perhaps this might make a better example since he chunked the iron shot:

I think I can speak for Sparky when I say that there is no
conscious effort to do this correctly, in fact my
instructors have never even brought the forearm up. I firmly
believe that if you address the fundamentals; grip, posture,
setup, plane (have I missed any?). Then such "minor"
details will take care of themselves.

But it's anything but "minor" the TGM world thus the term "The Magic of the
Right Forearm!"

It's something that you will see in a good swing, and won't in a poor swing.

My only point is that if you are consciously trying to get
your right forearm correct the rest of your swing will
suffer as a whole.
