If there is a more relevant group for this question please let me know..
Combofix is a great tool and I have run it over 100 times.
Recently I ran it on a few workstation PC's. ComboFix found some bugs on all
but one.
Unfortunately, After running ComboFix on these PC's - My main application
would no longer connect to the SQL DB.
The VB application is SQL and SQL Reporting services centered.
I was able to perform a repair install of the SQL Native client (Via
add/remove Programs) on the workstations to get a connection to the SQL DB.
All seemed to be good.
That is until I used the Reports menu option and a subsequent menu of my
application: 'My Reports'. This is an option to print my reports outside of
SQL reporting in a Web (IE) window.
I used Sysinternals to find that after running Combofix; the calls for this
function reference .HT~ rather than the legit .HTM etc...
Anyone know what might need to be done to re-reg (DLL/OCX) or whatever needs
to take place to get the reference back to the .htm.
