Hi,

I have a problem with DdeConnect. I'm using the DDE system over a network;
the DDE client is on one machine, while the servers are other machines.

When I call the DdeConnect() function and the server is up, it all works
well. But if the server is down, the function does not return 0L, as one
would expect, but a handle to something (I don't know what), and the program
does not work properly.

Any suggestions on what to do?
