Hi All,
Has anyone ever tried to have the data on a report center itself on
print preview? The secretaries here are having a fit because a letter
that comes out of Access isn't centered on the 8 1/2 by 11 page.
Depending on the choices, the letter is long or short.
Just to clarify, I am not talking about autocentering the report when
viewing it within Access. I'm talking about auto-centering the data on
the report when it is printed.
Thanks,
Laura |

What do you mean by autocentering?
Is the letter a character or a letter, as in a letter you put in an
envelope.
Is it that the margins are incorrect? Or is it that you want the fields
to be centered, not left or right justfified which can be set in the
property sheet of the field?
Are you creating a report with margins that aren't in the range of the
user's printers?
If you type in
Application.Printer.
in a code module you will get a list of properties you can set or view;
top, left, right, bottom margins for example. |
