My goodness, there's even a society of crop circle makers! See:
http://www.circlemakers.org/guide.html
Must have been founded by an ET, who wanted his mysterious technology to
be preserved. I bet theyt just _fake_ walking around in circles dragging
wooden paddle and boards behind them.
BTW, it's remarkably easy to fake stone tools and points, petroglyphs,
and other "impossible to fake" archaeological artefacts. Matter of fact
knapping a stone tool is one of the skills any serious archaeologist
learns in first or second year of field work. My brother is pretty good
at it, but the guy who taught him is a real expert. Also, potters and
other artisans have worked out all kinds of ancient techniques. Some of
them make a pretty good living making objects "according to traditional
methods", "preserving our ancestors' traditions", etc.
If there's ever a market for stone tool and points worth serious money,
you can bet that most of the items offered will be fakes.
cheers,
wolf k. |

the first drawing on this page shows some kind of optical illusion,
what kind of mathematics is this, and is it used in computer
technology or the 3D graphics software industry ever? I can't say that
I ever saw anything like this, I am a newbie here but I like the idea
of computers and is there some possibility of contacting 'men from
Mars' eg, is there or are there martians? and do we expect an invasion
of privacy at any time?
thank you kindly,

It's quite an old puzzle. It's usually presented the other way round,
ie, the image with the hole first, and the one without the hole second.
Then the puzzle is "Where did the hole go?"
The hypotenuses of the two right triangles do not make a straight line.
If drawn much larger and very precisely, then a straight line drawn from
bottom left to top right will intersect those hypotenuses, and the area
between it and the hypotenuses is equal to one square. You can prove
this by calculating the areas of each of the four parts. Their sum will
be 31.5 square units, while the large triangle is 32.5 square units.

Not yet.

Poor fella, I read that he's feeling a bit stressed out and is there
any suprise! personally I think poor old McKenna was coerced into it,
you know like testing the defenses possibly? huh! I read that now
theres open competitions for experts and would-be's alike to try
breaking into systems...was it Symantec? I have to terribly careful
who I chat to online....so this is just something I wrote, yes.
I mean if the USA offered him 70 years together with a job, a wife,
nice house and some interesting passtimes to keep him together? I mean
it was, like you know.. once basket weaving perhaps?

Like,
Dera Mr and Mrs so and so,
I appear to have bad breath and would like to apologise to both of
you. The barn door was left open and I was caught in flagrante
delicto with a rabid skunk. Please accept my apologies for urinating
on your head, and seek immediate assistence because my urine can
dissolve bone. |
