If I have a photo that I know was gotten off the web is there a way to
search for that photos origins online with a search engine. Can the
code that creates (draws) the photo be searched for as if I was
looking for a text phase online? Not sure if I have the correct group
to ask this question so if not could someone steer me to the right one. |

No, you either upload the image you want to search for, or provide an
URL to the image. It then returns all "matching" images (subject to
scaling/translation/rotation and edits).

You're totally mixing up terms here. Photos aren't "created" or "drawn"
by "code". They're taken by cameras. |

Tineye works very well and will find images where the colour has been altered extensively. That is,
where sections of the image have been masked and re-coloured rather than the whole image.
The main problem with it is that its search arena isn't very large.
