Hi,
Can somebody point me to some chat datasets? I am particularly
interested in the chat logs from games.

I was not able to find any good logs either, but what you can do is
write your own IRC client and monitor any of the 1000's of chat rooms
out there to build your own datasets. quakenet would be good for
games chats.
There is some example code (Java) in my project Pandora, it includes a
IRC sense that lets it monitor and interact in chat rooms.
