c64 emulator to real 1541 drive...

I am looking for C64 emulator in PC that connects to a real external 1541
drive thur X1541 adapter. Can you help?

VICE + OpenCBM (on Windows, Linux, BSD or MAC OS X), if you are using

That article seems specific to WinVICE. Does the Linux version of VICE also
support this?

Yes, it does, if you install OpenCBM before compiling VICE - more
precisely: Before doing ./configure.
