Hi,

I have a problem and don't know if it is more vice or OSX related. I
downloaded vice 2.1 cocoa and copied the vice folder to my machine and
could start x64. So far no problem. But when I quit vice and run it
again the main window does not appear, just the menu bar. Also no disk
image can be opened without an error message. The problem can be solved
by deleting the file org.viceteam.x64.plist in ~/Library/Preferences but
only for one time as the file is recreated after I quit vice again.

I have OSX 10.4 on an intel macbook if that is of any relevance.

This is a known problem and there will be a fix for it; one of the nightly
builds might have it already.

A shot into the dark:

I don't know MacOS. But is it possible that x64 is still running? May be
not everything was shutdown when you intended to terminate it?

You should be able to get a process list to verify. As it runs a Unix
clone you might get a shell and try "ps ax" (that works in Linux, not
sure if it works that way in Unix too) to see what's running.
