Hello there,
I'm new in the Phone world and specially in ISDN.
I'm trying to figure out the meaning of MSN and DDI.
If I understand correctly, MSN is the ability to assign for example 10
phone numbers to a BRI access. In this way if one phone call is being
executed, I can call for another number and the call will be delivered
to the next available channel.
The configuration of MSN are executed by the Phone Operator.
The DDI is the feature supplied by the Phone Operator, that connects a
phone number to an extension.
This implies that the Phone Operator must deliver 2 to 6 digits to the
PBX for the extension routing be configured.
I'm I getting everything OK? |
