Hi yall.
My PSX broke down several years ago, so I was overjoyed when I heard that
you could actually play old PSX games on your PC. I found Connectix VGS on
the net, downloaded a patch for Win XP, fired up Crash Bandicoot and it
worked perfectly, so I was naturally overjoyed. Nostalgia and all.
But then I put my Silent Hill cd, and it didn't work that well. The iin-game
works fine, but the cutscenes hitch constantly. They run for two-three
seconds, than pause for about a second, than my comp accesses the cd and the
cutscene proceeds for the next few seconds, than pause again and so on.
I thought that it was cd's fault somehow, but it works fine on my friends
real life PSX. Can somebody tell me what is the cause of this cos SH is one
of my all time favourites and this isn't a way I want to replay it.
Thanks. Cheers!! |
