HotOS XI Call for Papers
The 11th Workshop on Hot Topics in Operating Systems (HotOS XI)
May 7-9, 2007, San Diego, CA
http://www.usenix.org/hotos07/cfpb/
Submissions deadline: January 4, 2007
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Colleague:
I am writing to remind you that the deadline for submitting to HOTOS XI
is Thursday January 4, 2007.
The 11th Workshop on Hot Topics in Operating Systems (HotOS XI) program
committee is seeking your submissions. HotOS XI will bring together
people conducting innovative work in the systems area for three days of
interaction, with all attendees being active participants and
contributors throughout the workshop.
Continuing the HotOS tradition, this workshop will be a place to present
and discuss new ideas about computer systems and how technological
advances and new applications are shaping our computational
infrastructure.
We request submissions of position papers that propose new directions of
research, advocate nontraditional approaches to old (or new) ideas, or
generate insightful discussion. We particularly look for position papers
containing highly original ideas. The submissions deadline is January 4,
2007.
To ensure a productive workshop environment, attendance is limited to
about 60 participants who are active in the field. We urge practitioners
as well as researchers to contribute submissions.
More information on how and what to submit can be found at
http://www.usenix.org/hotos07/cfpb/
We look forward to your submissions.
On behalf of the HotOS XI program committee,
Galen Hunt, Microsoft Research
HotOS XI Program Chair
