hi all,

i want to know how to change the operating voltage of a design in
synopsys design compiler or design vision.

i see in my power report

Global Operating Voltage = 1.8 v
Power-specific unit information :

i would like to change it to 3.3 v and similarly change threshold
voltages and other parameters as well.
also is there a way to change the library of gates i am using to
synthesize in DC, currently i am using a osu_stdcell.db file.

I am new to using this tool, sorry for such a basic question.

thanks,

You have to use different library since you want to use different
process.

thanks very much for your reply michael.

Also is there a way I can build my own library (.db)
file in synopsys suite. is there a library builder or something like
that available.

thanks,

Yes, you can. You can convert .lib to .db in dc_shell. You must own
"Library Compiler" license.
