It seems that there has been a lot of vendor consolidation in the query
and reporting tools market for the power user. And most of the old
tools websites are gone. Are there alternatives to the more BI stuff
like Crystal reports has become for a small company? |

What specific old tools are you talking about?
The Cognos and Crystal Report products are still available.
Then there are some free open source tools like BIRT you can look
into.
