Hi

I remember uninstalling in v8 using the product code in windows
operating system and wipe out entire product, database , instance and
log files. Is there any similar commands available to wipe out / clean
registry entries and database catalogs and the environment.

reference for v8:
=================
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/db2luw/v8/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.db2.udb.doc/start/t0007436.htm

I have a installation in which the uninstall has been partially left
out without completion. Is there any good step to wipe entries without
manually entering registry editor and clean up the entries for the
particular db2copy. I don't want any dangling entries in registry as
well as in the folder structure ( db2 instance,db, etc ).

If you have an install image for DB2, there is a 'db2unins.bat' which
seems to do a pretty good job of cleaning up a DB2 install. You might
still need to erase the actual database directories, c:\db2 or wherever
you might have them.

Thanks for the reply. one of my friend deleted folders in sqllib
instead of uninstalling from windows.
does it still uninstalls ?
