A truly fascinating comment which serves serves only to demonstrate that
the level of one's physical and intellectual development do not necessarily
correlate with the level of one's character developement. What a sad and
pathetic public display of the mindset of a physically and intellectually
mature adult who clearly possesses the psychological makeup and mindset of
an adolescent.

Guys,

It would be great to see you at my place. Kansas City is good location
because it is not too far from anywhere in US. We have nice weather now
and some entertainment will be available. Please let me know if you
would like to come and/or make a presentation; I'll put together a list
and post it at my web site.
Everybody is welcome, if you would like to talk as engineer to engineer.
The approximate time could be in mid. October.
The contact email is at the web site.

Hi Vladimir,

I will attend, ...but only under two conditions:

Condition# 1: That the conference be in the Spring
of next year (2010).

Condition# 2: That you supply us with a high
quality brand of vodka.

By the way, at Al Clark's Conference years ago we had
formal presentations by various attendees on various
DSP topics, which I enjoyed.

Regards,

and i might even be able to make it. i was planning on being at the
Cannon Falls MN conference in 2004, but was on the other side of the
state (Pelican Rapids) with my extended family instead. if the
unavoidable timing of events was slightly different, i could have been
to both events. and there might have been convenient since i haven't
lived in that neck of woods since 1981.

How about March 2010 ?

Sounds good; I propose that it not be a direct conflict
with IEEE 802, which meets the week of March 16, 2010.

Ah, yes. Springtime in Tornado Alley (actually just a little early
for tornado season). I remember it well.

Vladimir, I seem to remember that you were in Perry, OK. When did you

We relocated this spring. Just tired of sitting in the same place.

I'd love to, but really it's too early to tell whether I can.

I grew up in St. Louis, so it would be a trip home.

Woot! Glad to see it still exists!

And what a funny list. Having had the pleasure of personally meeting
four of the seven people accused of being so horrible, the contrast is
humorous.

And, holy cow! It's almost ten years old!!

I'm also happy to see the majority of this esteemed group still around
and holding up their reputation. ;)

Ciao,

Hi Dr. K,
I see that eBob placed you and me on the list for
"sexism". I can't remember why he did that.
I must have made some statement, related to
the battle-of the-sexes", such as:

Question: "Why do husbands die before their wives?"

Answer: "Because they want too."

Ha ha.
