I did not see a reference to the origination of this group so I
thought I would add it for posterities sake. I am Diana (Stobart)
Wild, aka. dstobart at (no spam) shore.net, the original proponent of this news
group. Here is a link to the original proposal and the names of the
people (way at the bottom) who voted for it.

I am so glad to see that the group remains although there are many
competing discussion groups out there that have built on what was
