Hi,
I'm having a problem getting the 2222 EBF installed on Windows XP.
After running the EBF, I was unable to connect to any Sybase DB. After
some searching online it appeared that my best bet was to reinstall
SQLA11.
I finished the reinstall and was able to once again establish
connections to my DBs from Sybase Central, however now I can not get
the 2222 EBF to install. Attempting to run the EBF results in a
Windows Installer error message:
"The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer
service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the
upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify
that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you
have the correct upgrade patch."
I've of course verified that the install exists and did a thorough
search for references to older or newer versions. All checks out to be
the original, initial release version (11.0.1264).
Can anyone suggest what step I might take next to get this EBF to
install?
Thanks for your help! |
