I have been, for many years, to get feedback on my website and
software. MOst of the difficulty is due to the fact that people with
disabilites, and those who don't have vast econmic resources aren't
seen as valid sources of information.
I feel my latest backup software is a good example, but my many other
programs are helpful as well. I'd be interested in anyone who could
give me, or lead me to a good source to help me with my project.

Hi, well, just a quick comment.
From going on the home page, its not apparent what the site does or is for,
so one thought would be perhaps to have more content to tell people what its
about. The two bits of artificial speech that load do make the loading quite
slow as well, so maybe a link to speak might be better in this case.
I do not use a monitor at all, so I'm not coming from a sighted perspective.
A detail, the date given where it says you are visitor number etc, says 1009
not 2009.
I imagine your native language is not English, and wonder if maybe if you
have any friends who are better at the English grammar, you might consider
letting them edit the text. Another point is that outside the USA nobody
would know what the ADA actually is, I do, but only because I've gone and
found out its the Americans with Disabilities act. However its also a now
quite elderly computer language. Yes, I'm that old,. ohdear!

Looking at this site briefly I wouldn't download anything on the site
because you haven't mentioned Vista/XP compatibility, but Dos/Win
3.1/95 are there, so it gives you the feeling that the site is
catering for those customers rather than people with later operating
systems.
Thanks.
Andrew. |
