Dear all,
I'm learning to use Direct3D and I want to be able to design 3d models for
my creations. I've searched around a lot on the web in the past few days
looking for a good modeller to go with but I'm a little overwhelmed by the
number of different packages doing different things, so thought I'd ask here
for some recommendations.
I need a modeller that is cheap (preferably free), can import and export
DirectX .x files (in it's cheap/free version) and has tutorials availble for
absolute beginners giving info on how to create models (rather than full
scenes) and runs stably under Windows XP. Can anyone suggest anything? I'd
be very grateful for any help!
